The common hepatic artery is one of the 3 major branches of the celiac artery.

The common hepatic artery has 3 major divisions of its own:

  1. Hepatic artery proper
  2. Gastroduodenal artery
  3. Right gastric artery
FUNCTION

The common hepatic artery is responsible for providing blood to the liver, gall bladder, stomach, pancreas, and duodenum.
