OVERVIEW

Dressings for puncture sites are perhaps the most commonly applied dressings in the field of interventional radiology simply because most all cases will involve some type of puncture. The video shows one of the most commonly utilized dressings for puncture sites. It involves using 2×2 woven gauze and a small tegaderm. Of note this video shows how to fold the gauze in such a manner where it will stick nicely to the tegarderm making the application of the dressing easier.
