WHAT IS IT?

Conjunctivits refers to a condition where the conjunctiva of the eye is inflamed. There can be many causes of conjunctivitis which can include:

  • Viral infection (viral conjunctivitis)
  • Bacterial infection (bacterial conjunctivitis)
  • Allergies (allergic conjunctivitis)
  • Topical medications/cosmetics (toxic conjunctivitis)
