Hypospadias

OVERVIEW

Hypospadias is a congenital abnormality involving the male genitalia that is characterized by a urethral meatus that opens on ventral surface of the penis, scrotum, or perineum.

TREATMENT

Refrain from circumscising the patient: The foreskin is used in the surgical repair of this condition.
