OVERVIEW

Conduct disturbance disorder (conduct disorder) refers to a behavioral condition that often originates in childhood. It is characterized by aggressive behaviors that violate age-appropriate norms.

WHAT MAKES US SUSPECT IT?

History Of Present Illness:

Violence towards animals such as family pets

Destruction of property: patients might destroy (i.e. set fire) to the property of others (on purpose)

Theft: patients can have a history of stealing.

Deceitfulness: patients often frequently lie to obtain goods/favors
