Circadian Rhythm Disorders

WHAT IS IT?

Circadian rhythm disorders refer to a category of sleep disorders that involve the daily sleep/wake cycle (circadian rhythm).

WHAT MAKES US SUSPECT IT?

Patients whose sleep/wake schedule seems to be “shifted” from the normal baseline. An example will be an individual who can not fall asleep until 2-3 am every night but will feel very well rested if they get a normal amount of sleep each night.
