Fluconazole

WHAT IS IT?

Fluconazole is a antifungal medicaiotn that inhibits ergosterol synthesis by inhibiting the cytochrome P-450 enzyme that converts lanosterol to ergosterol. Ergosterol is a fungal sterol that is essential to the fungal cell membrane.
