Cyclophosphamide

WHAT IS IT?

Cyclophosphamide is a Alkylating agent that cross links DNA at guanine N-7. It is a nitrogen mustard.

Malignancies:

  • Lymphomas:

Hemorrhagic cystitis is a series complication of this medication. Prevented with usage of Mesna (thiol group of meson will bind toxic metabolites) or with N-acetylcysteine.
