Testicular Torsion

OVERVIEW

Testicular torsion is a fairly self descriptive condition.

WHAT MAKES US SUSPECT IT?

Initial Presentation

  • Severe lower abdominal pain 

Physical Exam

  • Tenderness with testicular palpation.
  • Erythema/edema of scrotal sac
  • Absent cremaster reflex on side of torsion
