An incomplete abortion refers to a partial expulsion of some (but not all) products of conception before 20 weeks gestation.

Initial Presentation:
- Vaginal bleeding
Physical Exam:
- Vaginal bleeding may be visualized
- Dilated cervical os
CLINCIAL WORKUP
Fetal ultrasonography can demonstrate the following:
- Retained products of conception.
